Position Summary
This is a merchant-facing role that combines relationship management, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination. You'll work with mid-market and small business enterprises using Razorpay's international payment infrastructure, owning their success from sign-up through ongoing growth. You'll divide your time between stakeholder engagement and analytical work—tracking transaction performance, identifying opportunities, and resolving operational issues. What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end relationships with a portfolio of merchant accounts, guiding them from onboarding through expansion
- Monitor transaction volumes, processing success rates, and payment trends daily; identify and troubleshoot performance issues
- Lead regular merchant business reviews, health check-ins, and growth conversations to spot expansion and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with risk, product, engineering, and operations teams to resolve disputes, compliance concerns, and technical escalations
- Identify revenue expansion opportunities within existing accounts—through pricing optimization, product adoption, or volume growth
- Build and maintain detailed portfolio trackers, analytical dashboards, and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Support new merchant technical onboarding and serve as a first point of contact for integration assistance
Who We're Looking For
- MBA qualification (required)
- 1–3 years of experience in account management, business development, or B2B sales within mid-market or SME segments
- Exposure to payments, fintech, or lending is valued but not mandatory
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills—you should build and own trackers, not just interpret them
- Clear, effective communicator in writing and conversation
- Self-directed and proactive; you take ownership without needing direction
- Readiness to learn new tools and integrate AI into your workflow
