Position Summary
As an Analyst IT Operations at Mattel, you will be instrumental in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the IT systems and infrastructure that power our worldwide operations. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals to ensure system reliability, resolve technical challenges, and enable business continuity. Your role combines technical expertise with operational discipline to keep our technology running at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure consistent performance and availability
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents and issues reported by systems and end-users
- Manage support tickets and document issue resolution through established ticketing systems
- Provide technical support and assistance to organization members across all departments
- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and operational procedures
- Work with IT teams to implement software updates, security patches, and system enhancements
- Execute routine maintenance and scheduled system administration tasks
- Track and analyze system performance data to identify optimization opportunities
Requirements
- Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, computer networks, servers, and operating systems
- Demonstrated experience in IT support, IT operations, or related technical roles
- Practical experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and fix technical problems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and document work effectively
- Relevant IT certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to a team-based environment
