AI Consultant [m/w/d]

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential IT services organization seeking an AI Consultant to transform business processes into reliable automation and AI solutions.

In this role, you'll start with the process, not the tool. You will analyze how processes actually function, breaking them down into triggers, decisions, data flows, exceptions, and interfaces to identify where automation and AI create measurable value.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Analyzing, structuring, and identifying automation potential within business processes
• Designing and implementing AI and workflow solutions using tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
• Connecting systems via APIs and JSON while ensuring clean data flows
• Integrating LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, and agentic workflows meaningfully into processes
• Translating business requirements into clear technical solutions
• Taking ownership of solutions from concept through production deployment
• Measuring results, improving existing automations, and making solutions scalable
• Considering GDPR, AI Act, and governance requirements from the outset

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings strong process thinking and a solid understanding of process modeling, along with:

• Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms, ideally n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Automate
• Good understanding of BPMN, APIs, and data structures
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and LLM APIs
• Ideally, experience with RAG, tool calling, and agentic workflows
• Ability to structure complex requirements and communicate clearly between business and IT stakeholders
• Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
• A mindset focused on impact and measurable results
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) for client communication
