Position Summary

The Agriculture Lender role combines agricultural financial expertise with relationship-focused lending services. You'll provide comprehensive support to farm and ranch businesses, from loan origination through portfolio management. This position serves a key function in the Fort Garland market, working with clients who understand the realities of agricultural production, seasonal cash flows, and commodity-dependent operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Originate and structure agricultural loans for crop production, livestock operations, and equipment purchases
• Perform credit analysis and financial evaluation of farming and ranching businesses
• Conduct site visits to assess farming operations, collateral, and business conditions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with agribusiness owners and operators
• Prepare loan recommendations and credit documentation for underwriting
• Monitor loan performance and manage problem credits within assigned portfolio
• Maintain compliance with all applicable lending regulations and internal policies
