Security Guard

Essel is hiring full-time Security Guards in Oceanside, San Diego County to protect a newly constructed site and maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and valuable property.

About the Role

We're seeking multiple vigilant, dependable security professionals to safeguard our construction site in Oceanside. This is a full-time position where you'll be the first line of defense against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. You'll work directly with site management to ensure all safety protocols are met and that our site remains a secure, professional environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular patrols throughout assigned areas of the construction site
• Monitor entry and exit points, checking credentials and enforcing access controls
• Respond to security incidents, disturbances, or suspicious activity with professionalism and quick judgment
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed written reports
• Enforce site safety protocols and company security procedures
• Coordinate with team members and site supervisors to prevent losses and security breaches
• Remain alert and maintain situational awareness throughout shifts

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security guard license or the ability to obtain one
• Excellent attention to detail and sharp situational awareness
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Physical capability to patrol and respond to incidents
• Reliability and commitment to working full-time, including potential early morning, evening, or weekend shifts
• Strong work ethic and integrity
