Advanced Cardiac Device Lead – Allegheny General Hospital

Allegheny General Hospital, part of Highmark Health, is seeking an Advanced Cardiac Device Lead for a full-time position. This is an in-person role located in the United States where you'll lead clinical initiatives in advanced cardiac device management and patient care.

About the Role

As our Advanced Cardiac Device Lead, you'll take ownership of device programming, clinical oversight, and program development across multiple cardiology practices. You'll be the clinical expert our team relies on to ensure the highest standard of care for patients with sophisticated implanted rhythm management systems.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive analysis and interrogation of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and implanted loop recorders to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage the remote telemonitoring program, reviewing transmitted data and maintaining continuity of care between office visits
• Lead the development and implementation of new clinical programs and research initiatives in cardiac device management
• Design and deliver staff education programs to ensure competency and compliance across the organization
• Provide direct clinical support and ongoing care coordination for patients with implanted devices
• Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to refine device therapies and improve clinical outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Professional certification or licensure in cardiac device programming and clinical electrophysiology
• Extensive hands-on experience with device interrogation and management systems
• Strong clinical knowledge of rhythm management device technology and patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead educational programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both clinical and cross-functional collaboration
• Commitment to advancing patient safety and clinical best practices
