About the Role
Anew Climate is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to provide transactional legal support for our rapidly expanding global operations. You'll work on diverse matters that fuel our mission to accelerate decarbonization and environmental sustainability. This role offers direct exposure to innovative climate solutions, emerging environmental markets, and the legal complexities of serving both public and private sector clients worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Advise on corporate transactions and complex commercial agreements
- Support legal matters related to environmental markets and climate solutions
- Draft and negotiate contracts for client engagements and partnerships
- Conduct legal research and analysis on transactional issues
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Prepare legal documentation and memoranda
What We're Looking For
- 3-7 years of corporate law experience, preferably in transactional practice
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Knowledge of environmental law or climate-related industries is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission
