Account Executive – Financial Services

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential language services organization seeking an Account Executive focused on Financial Services clients in London. This is a direct sales role where you'll build new business relationships from the ground up—lead generation through close—while taking full ownership of your accounts in the financial services sector.

You'll serve as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, combining your knowledge of financial services or localization with a consultative sales approach. This position requires office presence five days per week in central London.

Responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships through cold calling, digital outreach, and industry events
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities in coordination with leadership
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
• Educate prospects on service capabilities, benefits, and competitive positioning
• Provide ongoing customer support and manage client expectations alongside delivery teams
• Control pricing and contractual terms while adhering to company procedures
• Learn each client's industry dynamics, business needs, and culture to identify expansion opportunities
• Project revenues, monitor budgets, and perform analytical calculations as needed

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience: Interest in or background in strategic business development, client services, or account management; prior account management experience is beneficial
• Industry knowledge: Familiarity with financial services or localization sectors
• Skills: Superior written and spoken English communication; strong relationship-building abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Analytical capability: Comfortable with revenue projections, budget tracking, and financial calculations
• Work style: Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments, collaborate across diverse teams and cultures, solve problems proactively, and deliver exceptional service
• Location: Ability to commute to central London five days per week
