About the Role
As a Science Olympiad Assistant in the West Chester Area School District, you'll play a vital role in building and sustaining one of the region's most dynamic science competition programs. This full-time supplemental position offers the opportunity to work directly with talented students while supporting the organization and execution of Science Olympiad initiatives at the high school level.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and implementing Science Olympiad curriculum and training strategies
- Support students in preparing for regional, state, and national science competitions
- Help organize and coordinate Science Olympiad events, tournaments, and team logistics
- Provide mentorship and guidance to student competitors
- Collaborate with faculty and coaching staff to enhance the overall STEM educational experience
- Maintain records, manage resources, and ensure program organization and efficiency
