The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Benefits Team Lead to join our growing team at Marsh McLennan in Auckland. As a key member of the leadership group, you will be responsible for leading a small team of consultants and managing a portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the client experience, drive business growth, and contribute to the strategic direction of the Employee Benefits practice.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of consultants in delivering high-quality employee benefits solutions
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction is maintained
• Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and client retention
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Participate in the development of new business opportunities and proposals
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients

What You Bring

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams towards common goals
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Experience working within the New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) market is preferred but not required
• A proven track record of delivering successful projects and meeting deadlines
