What This Role Involves

The role of Team Leader at Foodstuffs North Island is pivotal in driving our mission to help New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide)ers get more out of life. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and motivating your team, ensuring high standards of service are maintained across 300 stores. You'll work closely with store managers to implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the store, ensuring smooth running and adherence to company policies.
• Motivate and develop your team members, providing regular feedback and support for their growth and development.
• Implement customer service initiatives to improve the shopping experience for customers.
• Manage inventory levels and ordering processes to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in retail management or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proven track record of delivering results through effective team management.
• A solid understanding of customer service principles and practices.
