Position Summary
The Promotions Analyst role within Foodstuffs North Island is pivotal in driving strategic marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement and sales across our extensive network of 320 stores. As a key member of the Merchandise team, you will collaborate closely with supplier partners and store teams to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform promotional strategies.
- Develop creative promotional campaigns that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate terms, ensure product availability, and optimize pricing.
- Monitor and report on the performance of promotions to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure successful execution of promotional activities in-store.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in promotions, marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
