About This Position
This role is a full-time, on-site position within our vibrant and dynamic Support Centre. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all payroll processes across over 27,000 employees in Te Ika-a-Maui. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, maintain compliance with local regulations, and contribute to the development of robust payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions including payments, deductions, and benefits.
- Manage employee records and ensure data integrity in our HRIS system.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll reports.
- Work with internal stakeholders to implement changes and improvements to the payroll process.
- Stay up-to-date with local and international payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll management, ideally within the retail sector.
- Familiarity with Payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
