Key Responsibilities

• Interpret eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions and counsel patients on suitable frame styles, lens materials, and coatings
• Capture accurate facial measurements such as pupillary distance, segment heights, and bridge fit to ensure proper production of eyewear
• Order lenses, frames, and accessories from suppliers and track stock levels to maintain ready-to-dispense inventory
• Adjust, repair, and re-fit glasses on patients to achieve comfort, alignment, and optical accuracy
• Educate wearers on insertion, removal, and daily care of spectacles and contact lenses
