The Opportunity

Nvidia is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to oversee the firmware release function within our Datacenter Software organization. In this leadership position, you'll direct end-to-end release cycles, ensuring datacenter software and firmware updates meet the highest standards for performance, reliability, and security. You'll work at the intersection of engineering excellence and operational delivery, driving strategic initiatives that impact mission-critical deployments worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams responsible for datacenter firmware development, testing, and release execution
• Plan and execute firmware release cycles, coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines and organizational teams
• Establish release quality standards, testing protocols, and validation processes to ensure datacenter stability and performance
• Manage firmware roadmaps and prioritize feature development aligned with product strategy and customer needs
• Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and time-to-market while maintaining rigorous quality gates
• Collaborate with product management, systems engineers, and field teams to ensure successful datacenter software deployments
• Monitor release metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize delivery efficiency and team performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in management or senior technical leadership roles
• Proven track record managing firmware or systems-level software release processes at enterprise scale
• Deep expertise in datacenter environments, infrastructure software, firmware delivery, or related domains
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing technical teams in complex, cross-functional settings
• Experience establishing and executing rigorous quality standards and release governance frameworks
• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering and business teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
