Position Summary

As a Senior Firmware Engineer at Nvidia in Santa Clara, you'll architect and implement firmware solutions that power some of the world's most advanced processors. You'll collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to deliver firmware that meets Nvidia's exacting standards for performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for Nvidia's computing platforms, focusing on performance optimization and system integration
• Lead verification efforts, establishing test strategies and validation frameworks to ensure firmware correctness and robustness
• Build and maintain firmware infrastructure, including build systems, continuous integration pipelines, and deployment tooling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and platform teams to align firmware capabilities with product requirements
• Troubleshoot complex firmware issues and drive solutions through deep technical analysis and experimentation
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team technical excellence through code review and architectural guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of firmware or embedded systems development experience
• Demonstrated expertise in C/C++ and assembly language programming
• Strong background in firmware verification, including test development and validation methodologies
• Experience with build systems, version control, and continuous integration infrastructure
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and lead cross-functional teams
