Director of Security

Montage seeks an accomplished Director of Security to lead comprehensive security operations at our Healdsburg, California property. In this full-time position, you will develop and execute security strategies that safeguard our guests, team members, and valuable assets.

Role Overview

As Director of Security, you will serve as the strategic security leader for Montage Healdsburg, overseeing all aspects of property protection and team safety. You'll lead a dedicated security team, establish policies and procedures, and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to maintain a secure environment that complements our luxury guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing security team
• Create and implement comprehensive security policies and protocols
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Oversee access control systems and physical security infrastructure
• Respond to, investigate, and document security incidents and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations and industry standards
• Establish relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services
• Monitor, maintain, and upgrade security technologies and systems
• Manage security budgets and resource allocation
• Maintain detailed records and prepare security reports
