Food & Beverage Manager

Montage seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead hospitality and culinary operations at our luxury resort in Healdsburg, California. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape dining experiences at one of the region's premier destinations.

What This Role Involves

As Food & Beverage Manager at Montage in Healdsburg, you'll oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, from fine dining restaurants to in-room service and resort bars. You'll manage staff, control costs, maintain quality standards, and create memorable culinary experiences that reflect our brand's luxury positioning. Your leadership will directly impact guest satisfaction and operational profitability across multiple revenue streams.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct management of food and beverage teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance development
• Monitor food costs, inventory, and beverage pricing to achieve departmental budget targets and margins
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards across all food preparation and service areas
• Oversee menu development and implementation in coordination with culinary leadership
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement to ensure quality ingredients and supplies
• Drive guest satisfaction through consistent service excellence and quality control
• Prepare reports on departmental performance, sales trends, and operational metrics

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years of food and beverage management experience in hospitality
• Demonstrated leadership of diverse teams in fast-paced, luxury hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of food safety, health codes, and beverage service standards
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and hospitality management software
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Passion for culinary excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
