What This Role Involves

As an Environmental Services Technician in our housekeeping department, you'll be the backbone of facility cleanliness and sanitation. Your work directly impacts patient safety, infection prevention, and the overall experience of everyone who walks through our doors. This position offers varying schedules that provide schedule flexibility in a role that's essential to healthcare operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and clinical spaces using approved protocols and equipment
• Follow healthcare-standard hygiene and infection prevention procedures to maintain OSHA and facility compliance
• Operate and maintain floor care and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Manage and dispose of medical and general waste according to regulatory guidelines
• Restock supplies in designated areas and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Respond to priority cleaning requests and adjust schedules as patient care needs require

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing, lifting, and using various equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Reliability and willingness to work varying schedules
• Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
