Customer Service Representative – Remote, VA

Modivcare seeks a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our transportation coordination team in Virginia. This full-time position begins August 18, 2026, and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare access and member outcomes.

About the Role

As the primary contact for transportation members, you'll handle a high volume of customer interactions with professionalism and care. This customer-focused role operates within a 24/7/365 contact center environment, where you'll support members by managing their transportation coordination needs and resolving concerns promptly and accurately. Compensation is $14.00 per hour. The role requires extended periods of sitting, frequent use of telephone, headset, and computer systems, data entry work, occasional standing and walking, and may involve lifting up to 10 pounds.

What You'll Do

• Respond to member inquiries regarding transportation services and coordinate solutions
• Book, adjust, and cancel member transportation arrangements per member request
• Gather and record detailed information about member complaints and service concerns
• Enter all member information into company systems to maintain comprehensive service records
• Process and verify trip data and scheduling information to ensure accuracy
• Refer unresolved issues to the appropriate department for further investigation and resolution
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while supporting operational requirements including nights, weekends, holidays, and holiday coverage
• Foster a collaborative, positive work environment and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma (preferred)
• 0–2 years of contact center, customer service, or related experience in high-volume environments, or equivalent education and work background
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to quickly learn new technology and systems while following complex instructions accurately
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining a professional demeanor in member interactions
• Must reside in Virginia
