Senior Full-Stack Developer

Resource Staff is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team in Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. This full-time opportunity focuses on backend leadership and platform development for an established client base undergoing cloud modernization.

About This Position

We're seeking an accomplished developer to spearhead backend architecture and build the foundational systems driving our platform evolution. As our Senior Full-Stack Developer based in the Philippines, your primary focus will be backend infrastructure using modern cloud technologies, while you'll also contribute to mobile application development working alongside specialized mobile engineers. You'll guide the transition of customer systems to a contemporary, cloud-native platform.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Direct backend development using Firebase ecosystem components: Firestore databases, Cloud Functions compute services, authentication systems, and hosting infrastructure
• Design and build secure, performant Firestore database schemas with comprehensive access controls and security policies
• Develop Cloud Functions that implement core backend logic, build public-facing APIs, and establish connections with external third-party platforms
• Partner with frontend and mobile engineering teams to establish clear interfaces and implement real-time data synchronization
• Contribute to Flutter mobile app development, especially for backend system integration and offline data caching
• Modernize existing systems by replacing legacy architectures with cloud-based Firestore solutions
• Build and maintain deployment automation using GitHub Actions and Firebase Emulator Suite tools
• Provide architectural guidance regarding system design, performance scaling, and building offline-capable features
• Mentor incoming team members and assist with technical onboarding

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience; minimum 2 years focused on Firebase (Firestore databases, Cloud Functions, authentication)
• Strong expertise building serverless systems using TypeScript and Firebase Cloud Functions
• Thorough understanding of Firestore schema design, security rules, query performance, and system scalability
• Practical knowledge of Flutter and Dart, with ability to integrate with backend systems
• Experience implementing offline-first patterns, data caching mechanisms, and synchronization strategies
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows, particularly GitHub Actions and automated testing approaches
• Excellent English communication and experience working effectively in distributed team settings
