Oscar Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Member and Provider Services team in a full-time, remote position available to Georgia residents. In this role, you'll serve as the primary connection between our members, healthcare providers, and internal teams, managing the fast-paced daily operations that are core to our health insurance delivery.

What This Role Involves

As a Customer Service Representative at Oscar Health, you'll handle interactions across multiple communication channels—including phone, email, and chat—with members, brokers, healthcare providers, and third-party vendors. Your work combines direct member support with back-office tasks, all completed according to established procedures and quality standards. You'll own assigned cases from initial contact through resolution, keeping a close eye on turnaround times and service expectations. Reporting to the Concierge Operations Manager, you'll contribute to a team focused on delivering health insurance that works the way healthcare should.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with members, brokers, providers, and vendors across multiple channels to address inquiries and manage requests
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Oscar's business model, systems, and processes to serve members effectively
  • Maintain your assigned caseload while meeting productivity targets and quality benchmarks
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders
  • Identify issues early and escalate them through appropriate channels for timely resolution
  • Track progress on open items and manage response timelines proactively
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational enhancements
  • Protect member privacy by strictly adhering to HIPAA and all health information compliance requirements
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

What You Bring

  • At least one year of experience in a high-volume or customer-focused environment
  • A minimum of six months of healthcare experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (preferred)
  • Full professional bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, including reading, writing, and speaking (preferred)
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail when entering and managing data
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
