Position Summary

Stripe powers the economic infrastructure that drives billions in global transactions. Our Startup and Venture Partnerships team operates at the heart of this mission—connecting Stripe's technology and resources with top-tier VC firms, accelerators, and portfolio companies. In this role, you'll serve as a key operational and strategic partner to our senior relationship managers, helping scale Stripe's presence within the world's most promising startup ecosystems.

Core Duties

• Partner with senior relationship managers to strengthen Stripe's presence within leading venture capital firms by cultivating connections across platform teams, portfolio operations, and key decision-makers
• Manage the operational infrastructure of strategic partnerships, including credits program administration, onboarding processes for new portfolio companies, and ongoing stakeholder communication
• Prepare comprehensive account strategy documents, organize partner meetings, draft briefing materials, and ensure structured follow-through on commitments
• Collaborate with analytics teams to monitor portfolio adoption rates, product utilization patterns, and conversion funnels, converting data insights into executable strategies
• Conceptualize, design, and execute partnership-defining events such as founder networking sessions, venture capitalist roundtables, hands-on workshops, innovation hackathons, and company showcase programs
• Own full-cycle event management from venue selection and participant recruitment through day-of coordination and post-event analysis
• Develop scalable event frameworks and documentation, measure program impact, and contribute to internal knowledge tools and thought leadership initiatives

Qualifications

Required experience:

• Minimum three years in venture operations, startup business development, ecosystem partnerships, or program management
• Professional background working alongside or within venture capital organizations, startup accelerators, or emerging company networks
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate multiple teams, and deliver against tight timelines
• Clear, compelling communication in writing and conversation
• Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to guide business decisions

Valued additional skills:

• Prior experience on a VC platform team or in portfolio support operations
• Knowledge of Stripe's suite of solutions, particularly Billing, Payments, and Connect
• Background planning and marketing events for enterprise clients or startup communities
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Looker, or equivalent CRM or business intelligence platforms
• Existing professional network within the venture capital community
• Ability to operate independently and drive progress in undefined situations
