Stripe, a leading financial infrastructure platform, is seeking a full-time Copy Editor to join our team in the United States. In this role, you'll refine and elevate written content across customer-facing materials, internal communications, and product experiences that shape how millions of businesses globally interact with our platform.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and refine written content across marketing materials, product interfaces, documentation, and internal communications
• Develop and enforce style guidelines that maintain consistent voice and tone throughout Stripe's communications
• Collaborate with writers, product teams, designers, and marketers to improve clarity and impact of messaging
• Proofread content for grammar, accuracy, and compliance with brand standards before publication
• Identify opportunities to strengthen messaging and ensure content serves its intended audience effectively
• Stay informed on industry terminology and best practices to keep Stripe's communication current and authoritative

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a copy editor, editor, or writer with a portfolio demonstrating editorial excellence
• Mastery of grammar, style, and composition with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to adapt writing and editorial approach for different audiences and platforms
• Experience developing or enforcing style guides and editorial standards
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset when working across teams
• Understanding of web writing, technical communication, or product content is a plus
