About the Role
As a Paraprofessional Canon Preschool (Part-Time) team member at Cheyenne Mountain School District 12, you will work alongside licensed educators to nurture the growth and development of preschool-aged children. This part-time, on-site position is based at Canon Preschool and centers on providing individualized special education support that helps every child thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and special education services to preschool students.
- Support the daily routines, learning activities, and care needs of young children.
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Reinforce individualized learning goals under the guidance of certified staff.
- Contribute to the social, emotional, and developmental progress of each child.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to hire.
- Familiarity with child development principles (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification may be requested at the time of hire (preferred).
