Maintenance Technician – EPA Certified

Weinstein Properties is hiring an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician for 3Sixty Flats in Grand Prairie, TX. We're seeking someone ready to take ownership of equipment repairs, apartment turnover, and community maintenance in a full-time role where your skills directly impact resident satisfaction.

Role Overview

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our property operations team. Your workday spans Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional after-hours emergency response responsibilities. You'll work across multiple technical disciplines while building strong relationships with residents and colleagues. The position includes base compensation beginning at $23 per hour, on-call availability pay of $150 weekly (plus $150 holiday premiums), quarterly performance bonuses up to $980, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.*

Key Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance work orders in both occupied units and vacant apartments
• Manage apartment turnovers and prepare units for incoming residents
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, electrical fixtures, plumbing, appliances, and structural components
• Monitor and enhance grounds, common amenities, and recreational facilities across the property
• Coordinate with your maintenance team to ensure seamless daily operations

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in apartment or residential maintenance environments
• Current EPA Certification (Type II or Universal credential required)
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
• Customer-focused approach to resident interactions and service delivery
• Self-directed work habits balanced with strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in busy operational conditions
• Valid personal transportation; ability to operate golf carts
• Physical capability to lift 75 pounds, work indoors and outdoors in all seasons, safely use ladders, and operate hand and power tools
• Proficiency with Windows-based software, email platforms, and computerized maintenance tracking systems
• Willingness to pass a background screening
