Senior Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager

Prime System Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead our network operations team in Lahore, Pakistan. This is a full-time position for a hands-on leader who combines deep technical expertise with the strategic vision to optimise our critical infrastructure and mentor a growing operations team.

Role Overview

As Senior Network Operations Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our network infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 availability, performance, and security of all systems. You will manage a team of network technicians and operations staff, set operational standards, and serve as the escalation point for critical incidents. Your role bridges technical excellence with operational leadership, requiring you to make decisions that impact both immediate uptime and long-term infrastructure strategy.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct network monitoring activities and incident response procedures across all environments
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of NOC technicians and operations specialists
• Establish and enforce standard operating procedures, documentation, and knowledge management protocols
• Monitor network performance metrics, analyse trends, and implement capacity planning initiatives
• Manage escalations for critical incidents and coordinate with engineering and support teams
• Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance windows with minimal business disruption
• Review and optimise on-call schedules, alert thresholds, and incident response workflows
• Report on operational metrics, SLAs, and key performance indicators to senior management

What You Bring

• 5+ years of network operations centre experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (e.g. Nagios, Zabbis, SolarWinds, Splunk)
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewall management, and routing concepts
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• ITIL certification or equivalent operational framework knowledge
• Excellent communication and incident documentation skills
