What This Role Involves

As Product Proposition Manager for general insurance at PolicyStreet, you'll shape how our insurance propositions are designed, packaged, and brought to market. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, customer insight, and commercial opportunity, taking ownership of the full lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing optimisation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and refine product propositions for general insurance lines, ensuring they meet customer needs and market demand
  • Develop comprehensive product briefs, positioning statements, and go-to-market strategies
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and growth opportunities within general insurance
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, operations, and technology teams to build propositions that are commercially viable and operationally sound
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering customer feedback and recommending enhancements
  • Prepare business cases and communicate value propositions to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and PolicyStreet's risk management standards

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of product management, product development, or business development experience, ideally in general insurance or financial services
  • Strong understanding of general insurance products (motor, home, travel, liability) and the Malaysian insurance landscape
  • Proven ability to build business cases, conduct market analysis, and translate insight into actionable propositions
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer benefit against business viability
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to support decisions
