Dubbing QC Editor (Korean)

Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC is seeking a Dubbing QC Editor (Korean) based in Seoul, Seoul, South Korea to ensure the highest quality of dubbed Korean audio across our media content library.

About This Position

As our Dubbing QC Editor, you'll play a critical role in maintaining audio excellence and cultural authenticity for Korean-dubbed content. This position combines technical expertise in audio evaluation with a deep understanding of Korean language nuance, ensuring every dubbed track meets international broadcast standards while preserving the original performance intent.

Core Duties

• Review and assess dubbed Korean audio against original material for accuracy, synchronization, and vocal quality
• Evaluate lip-sync alignment between dubbed audio and video content, flagging mismatches for correction
• Assess performance integrity, ensuring dubbed performances match emotional tone, pacing, and character consistency
• Provide detailed QC notes to dubbing teams and directors, identifying required retakes or adjustments
• Verify technical audio standards including levels, clarity, and compression compliance
• Check cultural and contextual appropriateness of localized dialogue and phrases
• Maintain comprehensive QC documentation and version tracking throughout the dubbing workflow
• Collaborate with directors, dubbing supervisors, and sound engineers to resolve audio discrepancies

Who We're Looking For

• Fluent, native-level Korean language proficiency with deep cultural understanding
• Proven experience in audio quality assurance, dubbing QC, or closely related post-production role
• Strong ear for audio quality, tone, and performance authenticity
• Technical competency with media players, DAWs, or dedicated QC software
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to spot synchronization, clarity, and performance inconsistencies
• Excellent communication skills to provide constructive feedback to creative teams
• Organized workflow management and ability to meet production timelines
