What This Role Involves

You'll own the intersection of product strategy and market analysis in alternative investments. Your work spans understanding investor workflows, identifying gaps in the competitive landscape, and building product solutions that streamline how professionals access and manage alternative assets. This position requires both quantitative rigor and business acumen to succeed in the fast-moving alternative investments space.

Key Responsibilities

• Research market dynamics and investor needs within alternative asset management to prioritize product opportunities
• Build and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business strategy and competitive positioning
• Partner with engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver product features that solve real problems in alternative investments
• Analyze user data and investment trends to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and user research to deeply understand pain points in asset management workflows
• Track regulatory, market, and technology developments relevant to alternative investments and competitive landscape

Requirements

• Product management or product analytics experience in fintech, financial services, or investment technology
• Solid knowledge of asset management, investment structures, or alternative investments
• Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated proficiency in data-driven decision-making
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts to both technical teams and institutional stakeholders
• Familiarity with product development methodologies and product lifecycle management
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional background)
• Located in or able to work from the New York area
