Pierce Technology Corp is recruiting a full-time AI Engineer - SDLC Process Improvement for this remote position in the United States. In this role, you'll drive the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into our software development lifecycle, identifying optimization opportunities and automating repetitive processes to enhance team productivity and code quality.
About the Role
This position focuses on analyzing current development workflows, designing AI-powered solutions to streamline processes, and implementing tools that improve efficiency across the entire software development lifecycle. You'll work with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and translate them into concrete improvements that benefit developers, QA engineers, and project managers alike.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze existing SDLC workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities
- Design and implement AI/ML solutions for code review, testing, documentation, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and validate improvements
- Develop and maintain integrations between AI tools and existing development infrastructure
- Monitor performance metrics and iterate on solutions based on team feedback
- Research emerging AI technologies applicable to software development
- Document technical solutions and best practices for team adoption
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML development
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
- Knowledge of SDLC tools and practices (CI/CD, version control, testing frameworks)
- Understanding of software development workflows and pain points
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
