Role Overview

As a Project Manager with Pierce Technology Corp, you'll own the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives based in our Richmond, Virginia office. This is a contract role designed for someone who thrives managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication while maintaining team alignment toward shared goals. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, leadership, and external partners to keep projects on track and moving forward.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables
• Lead regular status meetings and standups to keep teams informed and address obstacles
• Track project milestones and progress against agreed timelines and budgets
• Communicate project status, risks, and accomplishments to leadership and stakeholders
• Coordinate efforts across departments and work with external partners when needed
• Document lessons learned and refine project management processes for continuous improvement

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation through closure and handoff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Comfort with project management software, tools, and methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders
