About This Position

Continental is seeking ambitious individuals to undertake a comprehensive Berufsausbildung (vocational apprenticeship) as a Kunststoff- und Kautschuktechnologe (Plastics and Rubber Technologist). This full-time, structured training programme spans approximately three years and combines hands-on experience at our Korbach facility with theoretical instruction. You will develop practical expertise in plastics and rubber manufacturing, preparing you for a technical career in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Your Responsibilities

During your apprenticeship, you will:

• Master the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment used in plastics and rubber production
• Learn material testing, quality control procedures, and industry-standard inspection techniques
• Participate in production workflows, gaining experience in processing, forming, and finishing materials
• Assist in preparing workstations and managing raw materials according to safety and quality standards
• Support senior technicians and engineers in optimising production processes and efficiency
• Develop proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications, and production documentation
