Role Overview

Shape the end-to-end pharmacy experience across Humana's digital ecosystem. You'll design solutions that simplify medication management, clarify Part D benefits, and boost member confidence in their healthcare decisions. Working across product, engineering, marketing, and analytics, your design will directly influence member retention, Medicare STAR ratings, medication adherence, and operational efficiency—making design a critical business driver.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and lead pharmacy experience strategy with a human-centered, research-driven approach aligned to business goals.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop innovative solutions that simplify member workflows and decision-making.
  • Champion user research and data-driven insights to validate design impact and inform strategic direction.
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design, especially for Medicare/Medicaid and diverse populations.
  • Mentor designers and cultivate a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate design rationale and value to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure seamless experiences by partnering with product and design teams across the member journey.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, design, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years designing digital products with a portfolio demonstrating measurable business impact.
  • Specialized expertise in pharmacy design, including medication management and Part D benefits.
  • 3+ years coaching and developing designers.
  • Mastery of user-centered, interaction, visual, and service design; proven success with complex healthcare or insurance journeys.
  • Proficiency with Figma and user research methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen connecting design to outcomes: retention, satisfaction, operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
