Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Representative at Arrow Electronics, you'll serve as the primary account manager for your customer territory, building long-term partnerships while driving sales of our passive, electromechanical, and connector products. Based in Texas, you'll travel to Arrow office locations as needed while managing relationships, executing account strategies, and delivering customer solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies for assigned customer territories, driving sales excellence and capturing market share
- Manage all aspects of the customer relationship, from quotation development through order fulfillment and delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to provide solutions including quoting, engineering support, and troubleshooting
- Serve as the primary contact for customer service, quality concerns, corrective actions, and field quality management
- Monitor and maintain Perfect Order Index (POI) and inventory accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize errors
- Coordinate credit, financial, and support resources to maximize customer outcomes and operational performance
- Evaluate competitive market conditions and leverage that intelligence to inform strategic sales decisions
- Own the complete quote-to-order lifecycle: develop strategy, process quotations, negotiate pricing, and communicate timely updates
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in electronics distribution, preferably with passive electronics component sales (power supplies, cable assemblies, thermal management, connectors, magnetics, capacitors, resistors)
- Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, macros, and complex functions
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain influential customer relationships
- Quick adaptability to new systems and evolving business processes
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proven excellence in customer service and sales execution
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams to drive results
- Eligible for export license or U.S. Person status (required for ITAR compliance)
