About This Position

As Operatøransvarlig, you'll own operational excellence across Bybanen's services. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor operational performance and respond quickly to service disruptions or scheduling conflicts
• Coordinate with operators, maintenance teams, and stakeholder organisations to maintain service integrity
• Oversee staff scheduling, safety compliance, and passenger communication protocols
• Manage dispatch operations and vehicle deployment to meet demand and reliability targets
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Report performance metrics and support leadership with data-driven operational insights

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public transport operations, logistics, or a similar demanding operational environment
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills under time pressure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Knowledge of transport regulation, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with operational management systems and data analysis tools
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
