Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to patient needs, monitor alarm systems, and communicate clinical changes to the healthcare team

- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols in the patient care environment
- Support patient admissions and manage care transitions as patients progress through their stay
Skills & Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or ability to obtain licensure
- Minimum one year of Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) or critical-care nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex patients and prioritize care in high-acuity environments
- Professional communication and strong teamwork across interdisciplinary teams
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and safely assist patients
- Flexibility and comfort adapting to new facility systems and protocols
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
