Werkstudent Content Creation TikTok (Mensch*)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consumer brand in Hamburg seeking a working student to develop and manage their TikTok presence. In this role, you will:

• Develop creative video formats optimized for TikTok – snackable, fast-paced, and authentic content that resonates with the platform
• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit short-form videos covering products, behind-the-scenes moments, team culture, and community-focused content
• Identify emerging TikTok trends early and translate them into brand-relevant ideas, presenting these actively in weekly editorial meetings
• Create original concepts, stories, and hooks that capture attention and drive engagement
• Plan content and video ideas aligned with product launches and campaign schedules within an editorial calendar
• Test various formats, analyze performance metrics, and continuously optimize content strategy
• Prepare monthly performance and content reports to track growth and engagement
• Collaborate closely with the content and communications team to ensure all output aligns with brand messaging and campaign objectives

What We're Looking For

• Recently enrolled in a Master's program related to media, communications, marketing, design, or film, seeking ongoing working student employment alongside studies
• Deep understanding of TikTok beyond casual use – you know why videos succeed based on hooks, pacing, sound selection, and trend timing
• Prior experience as a content creator through your own channel or in a professional context
• Proficiency in video editing using tools like CapCut, with foundational knowledge of video production (camera, lighting, sound) or strong willingness to learn quickly
• Comfortable and confident on camera – authentic, approachable, and engaging with your audience
• Clear and confident communication skills in German for both community engagement and internal team coordination
• Natural creativity and willingness to experiment with new ideas rather than simply replicating existing content
• Strong self-organization and ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver reliably despite the creative chaos
• Bonus: ability to share your existing TikTok channel or submit a short introductory video demonstrating your on-camera presence
