Senior Consultant für digitale Verwaltungsprojekte – Migration und Inneres (all genders)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential public-sector technology consultancy based in Bremen. We are seeking a Senior Consultant (all genders) to lead digital transformation projects in migration and internal affairs.

In this role, you will:

• Advise public-sector clients on complex IT and digitalization initiatives with a focus on migration, internal affairs, and internal security topics
• Shape the evolution of administrative processes and digital services together with clients, questioning existing workflows and structuring technical decisions
• Analyze complex procedural, organizational, and process-related challenges, developing target operating models, options, and concrete recommendations
• Design and facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder alignment sessions, guiding clients through decision-making and change processes
• Bridge administration, domain expertise, and technology by structuring and prioritizing requirements and translating needs into viable digital solutions alongside interdisciplinary teams
• Accompany implementation from concept to practice—through analysis, requirements gathering, design, piloting, testing, and go-live—keeping user acceptance and sustainable adoption in focus

What We're Looking For

• Relevant experience consulting public-sector clients on IT, digitalization, or transformation projects, with demonstrated ownership of consulting assignments or technical workstreams
• Ability to quickly master complex domain topics, analyze and structure relationships, and derive robust options, recommendations, target models, and concepts
• Experience collaborating with external clients and diverse stakeholders, communicating confidently across multiple organizational levels
• Comfort not only in advisory work but also in bringing concepts to life with interdisciplinary teams and seeing real-world impact
• Ideally, experience with public-administration digitalization projects and/or domain knowledge in migration, internal affairs, or internal security; familiarity with OZG, EfA, FIM, data protection, or IT service management is a plus
• A completed degree provides an ideal foundation for this role
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) and good English proficiency
