(Junior) SEO & AI Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology company in their search for a talented SEO & AI Marketing Manager to join their Berlin-based marketing team. Our client is building next-generation solutions at the intersection of clean energy and intelligent software systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern search optimization strategies that go far beyond traditional SEO.

As part of our client's growth, you'll be responsible for scaling visibility through automated workflows, AI-driven content optimization, and cutting-edge search technologies. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and content, ensuring technical excellence while coordinating with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Optimize content for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to maximize presence in AI-powered search results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar platforms)
• Design and develop automated SEO processes and workflows using modern AI tools (e.g., automated briefing creation, content optimization)
• Implement and monitor automated sanity checks and technical crawls using tools like Screaming Frog, translating findings into actionable optimization tasks
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and quality assurance for content implementation (UX, structure, AI scannability)
• Coordinate with global teams across multiple locations, translating strategic requirements into operational briefings and leveraging local market insights
• Maintain website hygiene standards and ensure technical SEO excellence across all properties

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of relevant SEO experience, either in-house or at an agency
• Completed degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Information Systems, Marketing, or comparable qualification
• Strong proficiency with standard SEO tools including Search Console, Ahrefs, SISTRIX, and Screaming Frog
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier, and familiarity with LLM-based workflows
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify complex patterns independently and convert data into actionable recommendations
• Strong intuition for user intent and content layout optimization
• Active interest in the evolution of LLMs and AI-powered search technologies
• Proactive, solution-oriented work style with the ability to manage multiple parallel projects
• Resilience and adaptability in the face of rapid technological change, particularly regarding AI developments
• Fluent German and English; ability to communicate complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additional languages are a plus
• Comfort working with international teams and stakeholders
