Manager Digital & AI Strategy – Automotive (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization with a strong presence in digital transformation and AI-driven strategy. Our client is seeking a Manager to lead digital and AI strategy projects within the automotive sector. This role is based in München and offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership on high-impact initiatives that shape the future of mobility and automotive technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy projects for automotive clients as Project Lead, managing planning, implementation, monitoring, and review
• Develop and execute digital marketing and AI strategies for national and international automotive organizations
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, research initiatives, and business analysis activities
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating communication and supporting decision-making processes
• Lead client pitches and support senior management throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Ensure projects remain on budget, on schedule, and aligned with client objectives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues across departments
• Mentor and develop team members to support their professional growth
• Contribute to new business development by identifying opportunities and supporting pitch activities in the automotive sector

What We're Looking For

• Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, computer science, automotive engineering, or related field
• Minimum four years of relevant professional experience in digital strategy or digital marketing within the automotive industry
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with a creative, conceptual mindset and genuine interest in technology
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with AI tools
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; German language skills are highly valued
• Client-focused approach with strong teamwork abilities, self-motivation, and passion for strategic work
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects forward independently
