Intern Data Governance, Strategy & Analytics (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital consulting organization seeking a Data Governance, Strategy & Analytics Intern in München. This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of business intelligence, data management, and enterprise transformation, working directly with client stakeholders on high-impact engagements.

Responsibilities

• Support client engagements focused on data governance frameworks, data strategy development, and analytics capability building
• Analyze and document data processes, standards, roles, responsibilities, and business requirements across business and IT functions
• Contribute to the development of data governance operating models, data-quality initiatives, and transformation roadmaps
• Translate business priorities into actionable data use cases, reporting concepts, and decision-support solutions
• Create and enhance reports and dashboards in Power BI, supporting the definition of meaningful KPIs
• Research emerging developments in data management, business intelligence, analytics, and AI, synthesizing findings into practical insights
• Collaborate with consultants, data specialists, engineers, and client teams, building reusable templates and analytical assets

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong interest in data management, business processes, analytics, and digital transformation
• Initial practical experience in data analysis, visualization, reporting, or dashboarding; Power BI experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, data modeling, or data integration concepts (ideal)
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with a careful, independent working style and high quality standards
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and enjoy collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Good time-management skills with ability to reliably deliver high-quality results within deadlines
• Fluent in German and good English skills
