Manager Digital & AI Strategy – Pharma & Healthcare (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Manager for Digital & AI Strategy focused on pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. You will lead end-to-end strategy and transformation engagements in Munich, working directly with senior executives on growth initiatives, commercial transformation, and AI-enabled business models.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and transformation projects from problem definition through implementation and measurable impact for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients
• Advise senior executives on go-to-market transformation, commercial model transformation, AI strategy, and digital transformation roadmaps
• Convert complex analysis into clear management decisions, prioritized initiatives, and practical implementation plans
• Lead transformation workstreams and programs with clear governance, milestones, and stakeholder alignment
• Design and facilitate executive workshops while managing senior stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor
• Build and manage high-performing teams, providing coaching and professional development support
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities, shaping propositions, and building long-term client relationships
• Contribute to strengthening capabilities in AI strategy, digital transformation, and commercial transformation within pharma and healthcare

What We're Looking For

• Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, strategy, computer science, or related field; master's degree or MBA is a plus
• 5+ years of relevant experience in top-tier strategy or management consulting, digital strategy, transformation, or corporate strategy
• Strong track record developing strategies and executing transformations, ideally including go-to-market or commercial model transformation
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors preferred; experience in other regulated industries is also valuable
• Proven ability advising senior executives and managing complex transformation programs with multiple stakeholders
• Strong expertise in AI strategy, digital business models, customer transformation, commercial excellence, or operating model transformation
• Combination of analytical and conceptual skills with commercial judgment and execution-oriented mindset
• Confident communication, clear presentation skills, and effective stakeholder management capabilities
• Entrepreneurial, commercially minded approach with motivation to create measurable impact
• Fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a plus
