Art Director (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency in Dresden seeking an experienced Art Director to lead visual innovation across campaigns, brand identities, and digital products.

In this role, you will:

• Develop innovative concepts and visual ideas for campaigns, brand presentations, and digital products
• Lead the creative team, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development
• Evaluate creative work, copy, and visuals to ensure the highest quality standards
• Present and defend creative ideas internally and to clients
• Integrate current design trends, technologies, and AI-supported tools into workflows
• Collaborate closely with project management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient processes

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a seasoned creative leader with:

• Completed degree or training in graphic design, communication design, or motion design – or equivalent experience
• Multiple years of agency experience as Senior Graphic Designer or Art Director
• Experience in motion design, 3D visualization, UX/UI, or content creation
• Strong sense of style, aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling
• Proven track record of leading teams and taking ownership
• Passion for innovative ideas and commitment to creative excellence
• Knowledge of production processes and mastery of industry-standard tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Comfort with modern technologies including generative AI to support creative processes
• Strong German language skills, both written and verbal
