About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential venture capital organization focused on climate technology and impact investing. They are seeking a Visiting Investment Analyst for a 6-month engagement starting January 2027 in Berlin.
This is a full-time position ideal for someone early in their investment career who wants hands-on experience in venture capital, climate tech due diligence, and portfolio management. You'll work directly with investment professionals to evaluate startups, conduct market research, and support fund operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute investment strategy by screening deals and maintaining deal flow documentation in CRM systems
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the climate entrepreneurship ecosystem
- Perform due diligence including gathering customer and expert references, competitive analysis, financial assessment, and impact evaluation
- Prepare investment memos to support investment committee decisions
- Support quarterly portfolio reporting and LP communications
- Contribute to sector deep dives and prepare materials for fundraising conversations

- University degree and initial professional experience through internships or working student positions
- Knowledge of current developments in the climate technology sector

- Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments and manage multiple parallel tasks
