About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a mid-sized international manufacturer in the technical textiles sector. This newly created Sales Manager role offers significant autonomy to develop new markets and applications across Europe. You'll work remotely from your home office in Berlin with regular presence days at the main facility in Saxony.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts and develop new markets for technical textile products across Europe
• Identify new application opportunities in construction, cosmetics, composites, and interior sectors
• Acquire and manage new B2B customers throughout the full sales cycle—from initial contact through sampling, testing, and contract negotiation
• Collaborate closely with product management, development, and production teams to create customized customer solutions
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify emerging customer needs
• Represent the organization at international trade shows and customer sites

What We're Looking For

• Technical or commercial degree, or comparable qualification in textile engineering, materials science, polymer technology, chemistry, or related field
• Proven sales experience with complex, consultative products, preferably in international markets
• Previous experience in the technical textiles sector strongly preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-management capabilities
• Confident communication skills when engaging with decision-makers
• Fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel within Europe approximately 50% of the time
