Senior Product Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming professional services through AI-driven automation. They're building intelligent workflows that fundamentally reimagine how complex financial processes operate—making them faster, more transparent, and dramatically more efficient for both advisors and end clients.

This is a Senior Product Manager role based in München, working at the intersection of AI/ML engineering and regulated financial services. You'll own KI-native features end-to-end—from document classification and automated correspondence to RAG-based knowledge retrieval—shipping production systems that move real business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own AI/LLM features end-to-end: build evaluation frameworks, drive prompt iteration cycles, make build-vs-buy decisions on models and tooling, and ship features that deliver measurable business impact
• Conduct deep user discovery through interviews, shadowing sessions, and feedback synthesis to distinguish real problems from assumed ones
• Own your product line roadmap: prioritize based on business value, technical feasibility, and regulatory fit; communicate trade-offs clearly to engineering, domain experts, and leadership
• Maintain high design standards with Figma proficiency at review and sketching level—critique components, design flows, and protect product quality
• Define and monitor KPIs that matter: time-to-completion metrics, automation rates, user satisfaction, and advisor efficiency
• Drive the AI frontier: experiment continuously with cost-quality trade-offs in production, evaluate emerging capabilities, and bring cutting-edge techniques into the product
• Serve as connective tissue between engineering, domain specialists, and end users to accelerate the organization

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years product management experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, finance, tax, or similarly complex regulated environments
• Demonstrated AI/LLM track record: at least one production AI feature with real evals, prompt iteration, and ownership of cost-quality trade-offs
• Solid understanding of modern LLM stacks: RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning vs. in-context learning, vector stores—built workflows, not just prompts
• User empathy that translates into product decisions: understand pressures on both service providers and end clients, and convert empathy into prioritization
• Figma proficiency at sketch and review level with strong opinions on good UI and zero tolerance for sloppy interfaces
• Daily AI product usage with critical perspective on where the technology is heading; practical familiarity with Claude, GPT, Gemini or similar tools
• Ability to unblock yourself: prototype, test prompts, wire integrations, and hack together what's needed without waiting for others
• Structured thinking: MECE, first principles, hypothesis-driven—compress ambiguity into clear decisions
• Excellent English (C2 level); German is a strong plus
• Domain background in finance, tax, accounting, or adjacent areas is a strong plus, as is familiarity with accounting/finance software stacks or regulated data workflows
