About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Business Development Representative based in London. This role offers the opportunity to become a strategic expert in global payments, working with prestigious international brands to drive revenue growth.

This isn't a traditional lead generation position. You'll act as a strategic partner to the sales team, using advanced research, AI-driven insights, and deep technical knowledge to open doors and support high-intent opportunities from first contact through to deal closure.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical understanding of payment solutions and global payment trends to consult effectively with prospective clients
• Conduct in-depth research into organizational structures and competitive landscapes to identify high-value strategic accounts
• Lead high-level discovery calls that uncover technical and business challenges rather than simply pitching products
• Maintain consistent daily outreach while meeting ambitious performance standards
• Partner closely with Sales to move deals through the funnel, providing follow-up support and maintaining momentum
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Underwriting, and Product teams to align stakeholders and accelerate sales cycles
• Leverage AI-driven systems, intent-data tools, and advanced analytics to optimize lead generation and pipeline accuracy
• Maintain data-backed territory management using qualification frameworks like MEDDIC and CRM systems
