(Senior) Business Development Representative (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing European data intelligence company in their search for a Business Development Representative in Munich. Our client serves mid-market organizations across manufacturing, agriculture, and aviation with autonomous analytics solutions.

This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage, revenue-generating startup where outbound sales drives growth and your progression is merit-based, not calendar-based. Strong performers move into Account Executive roles within 3–6 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-velocity outbound prospecting with cold calling as the primary channel, supported by email and LinkedIn outreach
• Qualify prospects by identifying real pain points, urgency, budget authority, and decision-maker access
• Book qualified meetings and progressively take ownership of discovery calls to define customer use cases
• Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM with detailed notes, stages, and funnel metrics
• Continuously refine messaging, scripts, segmentation, and tooling to improve conversion rates
• Build authentic relationships with prospects from first contact through handoff or close

What We're Looking For

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional European language is a strong advantage
• Comfort with phone-based prospecting and genuine enjoyment of engaging prospects to understand their needs
• Target-driven mindset with a structured approach to hitting and exceeding goals
• Analytical approach to pipeline management—willing to test, measure, and iterate on what works
• Motivation to build from the ground up in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Ability to relocate to or commute to Munich; this role is in-person by design

Pay

This role offers a target compensation structure of €70,000–€100,000 including base and uncapped commission, plus equity. A €5,000 referral bonus is available if you refer a successful hire.
