About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential language training organization seeking an English Language Instructor in Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region. Our client provides language and cultural training solutions to global businesses across diverse sectors. This is a freelance position starting in September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and deliver effective language training sessions
- Develop complementary course materials tailored to learners' specific needs and objectives
- Assess language proficiency levels and create customized language content
- Engage learners actively in the learning process and maintain high motivation levels throughout courses
- Monitor student progress and evaluate performance continuously
- Apply established teaching methodologies while adapting lessons to accommodate different culturally-based learning styles
- Participate in ongoing professional development and additional training opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Native or native-level proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching English as a foreign or second language
- Knowledge of corporate business environments (preferred)
- Proficiency in a second language (preferred)
- Ability to work with clients from various sectors and cultural backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
